Friday, September 17th, 2021

Happy Friday, friends!

Today’s episode is a peek behind the scenes at how I select our book club books each year. Whether you are running a book club of your own and looking for suggestions or if you join in monthly to read with me, I want to share with you what I’ve learned over the years about book selection and building meaningful conversations around books.

Haven’t joined the book club yet? Here are the details on the 2021 Book Club together. I’d love to have you!

Book Gang Podcast Episode 3: Bring on the Romance

Friday, September 10th, 2021

The MomAdvice Book Gang Podcast is a new weekly podcast dedicated to the world’s literary tastemakers. As your tour guide, I hope to offer lots of fresh perspectives on books you may have already read and new book recommendations with a particular focus on debuts, under-the-radar book choices and helping you expand your book stack with backlist selections.

Today is all about ROMANCE, and I have invited a special guest to join me in this episode.

My guest today, Angela Pingel, has been a romance book reader for many years. She has discovered her love for series reading through the Kindle Unlimited format and shares her picks for the best books to pick up. Her most-loved romance genre was new to me and incredibly intriguing for a newbie to the romance world.

If I have learned anything in business, it’s essential to show up with a clear idea of what you want to do with your space and let your people know too.

I’m avoiding the well-known hyped books because (for me) the thrill is in the discovery of new talent that we need to share more of.

Episodes will drop every Friday morning, and I promise this should be listed on every platform this week! If you prefer to upload it directly, here is the RSS feed to add it to your favorite podcast player.
