Nagging thoughts slow us down. The subconscious does not know how to tell time, so it continuously nags us with these annoying thoughts until we actually do something about them. Then, we can move swiftly and purposely!

I'm also working on slowly eliminating all of that useless clutter from my home. Every time I get rid of stuff like that, I literally feel lighter. It is a terrific feeling!

To-Do Lists have always been the bane of my existence...I never seemed to get every item crossed off and therefore never felt like I accomplished anything. Now, I have two lists - one is a regular to-do list and the other is a project list. The items on my to-do list are things that I absolutely HAVE to get done that day or week, and the items on my project list are things that I want to get done, but they don't necessarily have a set time frame. Every week I make it my goal to cross off one item from my project list. This way I get to feel that sense of accomplishment that comes from completing your to-do list. Plus, I'm able to stop worrying about all of those tasks like putting new vent covers on the vents because I know that its on my project list and eventually I'll get to it.

That is so sweet, Jen! I am so glad that you are finding these challenges inspiring. I have to admit that having people read what you are attempting to do is a perfect kick in the butt to get stuff done :) Thank you for reading!

Thanks for showing us your room Amy- I also live in an older home and sometimes feel frustrated with my small bedroom. Seeing how simple and clean yours looks has inspired me to work on mine!
