Great ideas Amy – I do use the idea of baking something in a cute tin for the teachers – and then the tin becomes part of the gift. I also buy tins and pans at Goodwill for when I make a meal for a sick family or a household with a new baby. That is one less thing they have to worry about – no returning of dishes required! :)
