I am so sorry, but our power has been down since Friday and I am unable to do any work this week. We had a rough storm with hurricane winds on Friday evening that knocked our power out. We are very blessed though and our house is fine and no trees fell on our property. I hope to be back soon and thank you for your patience!
Update- Our power came back on late last night. We are so thankful! It will take a bit to get back in the swing of things, but we are very happy for those little luxuries in life! Thank you for your patience!

glad you guys and your house are fine! we’ve had so many storms like that and this week we are preparing for our river to crest and flood our parks and fingers crossed it doesn’t cross the over to the highway like it did once.

So sorry to hear about your outage – we were without power for 4 days once… it was a loooong full days, so I feel your pain!
Glad your house is okay, and I hope that you get your power back soon!

I’m so glad to hear that your family and house are safe! You have other priorities to worry about right now, I’m sure we’ll all be just fine.
About a year and a half ago most of my city lost power for almost two weeks (Hurrican Ike sent wind gusts all the way to Ohio, only two counties were NOT declared disaster areas). Just having clean laundry became the golden standard for civilization! LOL!

yes, those were some strong winds…here in Culver there are trees down everywhere. We were out of town, but came back to a wet basement and a trashed garden, all things that are easily fixed thankfully. Glad you got power back, we aren’t equipped for power outages any more.
