The Motherload Blog

I have found beauty in the imperfect.

I have learned that when I think I know everything, I learn a few new tricks.

I continue to work hard to not let my clutter define me or who I want to be. I am so much more than this!

I can find time for my truest loves.

The most glamorous moment of my life happened at 31, making me wonder what 32 could hold!

I have learned to focus my heart on the little things.

And savor the big things for as long as they last.

I can make new traditions for our family.

I have learned that creating the home of  our dreams is difficult, but not impossible.

At 32, this man can still make my heart flutter like it did when I was only 17.

The first day of school will always be hard for me.

Life is so much shorter than I ever realized and these moments far more precious.

It has been a bittersweet year this year filled with beautiful surprises and great sadness too. It has made me realize just how precious these moments with my children and husband are, and renews my focus on savoring all that is precious while I am clutching it in my hands.

Thank you for another beautiful year and for celebrating and caring for our family enough to add my blog to your reading list.  I don’t take for granted a single moment of this unexpected career path or the people who have helped me create all of this!

Enjoy some virtual birthday cake and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store!

xoxo,

Amy

    Amy,

This is a much-belated comment, but for some reasons your posts weren’t showing up in my reader. Just this morning, I was thinking, “Amy hasn’t posted in a long time!” So I clicked over and am getting caught up. I’ll re-subscribe and see if that makes a difference.

Love these thoughts and pix. I turn 31 in a few days! =)
