It's a disinfectant & we have hard water so it's also great to break through the stains that leaves behind. :) Mostly for me, though, is I have an extreme chemical sensitivity so I can't really use bleach or other industrial cleaners so I've used vinegar to clean for years. <br /><br />I guess I was just ahead of my time. :) I'm all about vinegar!
