My son requested Jimmy Johns sandwiches for his 8th grade graduation meal. It doesn't get any easier or yummy than that, and far cheaper than buying supplies to cook an entire meal for 20 people. JJs sandwiches and chips in a bowl. Tadddaaa! There were NO complaints. :) And, LOVE to make garlic bread with their day-old.

Oh, that looks divine, Jennifer! I love overnight casseroles for the holidays! Anything with French Toast flavors has to be a winner :) I am so glad you found out about the bread- it is a fantastic way to stretch the grocery dollars..that is, if you avoid splurging on sandwiches ;) ((hugs))

Love Jimmy Johns! I had them cater my daughter's baptism in July. I had no idea they sold day-old bread. Definitely checking that out!! I'm not sure if this bread would be good in this or not, but I love this casserole: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/overnight-caramel-french-toast-10000001134071/. I'm making it for Christmas Eve brunch.

My husband brought 3 Jimmy John's sandwiches home from work yesterday, left over from a business lunch. Our two kids are coming over for dinner tonight. My plan today is to pick up some bread (hopefully day-old) from Jimmy John's and remake the sandwiches because yesterday's bread is soggy! I'll make some cauliflower chowder to go with them, and it should make a fine meal.

I love Jimmy Johns,(we also ate them waaaay too much in college) and their bread is one of the best things about their sandwiches. We don't have any of their restaurants too close, but I will keep this in mind the next time we're at one. (I love the #1!!)

That is awesome!

Last week with leftover flank steak from fajitas, I made fajita paninis for lunch.

Yesterday I used some leftover roasted lemon basil chicken I made for Easter in a sandwich for lunch. Tonight we are having the last bit of leftovers on top of salad.
