I recently read about someting similar with playdates, encouraging each family to bring food for donation to playdate get togethers. With my town being largely tied to automotive as well as yours we are also seeing a huge increase in need at our local food pantries. Love this idea, how fun! When she gets older she'll help us decide which charities. We've done special things in honor of loved ones and others! We want to teach her that it's a regular part of who we are to help others.
