Today I am in the air and am on my way to Blissdom to meet all of my favorite internet superstars. My batteries are charged on the camera and my bag is packed for a weekend of fun with all my girlfriends. I can’t wait to share some pictures with you.

    I love the Bonefish Grill. It is one of our favorite restaurants. I would love to win the card so when my husband returned from working storm trouble (electric lineman currently working KY)who knows when that will be, we would be able to have a nice date night with a great meal.

    My husband and I would love to win this gift card since we never get to go out. We have 3 kids and my husband works full time, teaches part time and is pursuing his doctoral degree so it is rare to find time for us to go out – not to mention the money.     I would love to be able to win the Bone Fish Grill gift certificate to be able to have a romantic night out with my husband. Shortly after getting married almost three years ago he became very ill. For almost a year he was unable to do anything. He is better now, and life is really looking good; however, we are on an extremely tight budget and this would be a very welcome way to celebrate making it through tough times together.

    Why do I need a Bonefish gift card? Well, my husband and I have had the year from you-know-where. I lost my job a year ago, cutting our household income in half. We have cut our budget to the bare bones and have learned to live very frugally. Also, our marriage was in serious trouble at that same time, and we have worked very, very hard to repair our relationship. We are doing much, much better, but we have no money to go out and spend time together alone. We have two small children, so finding the funds to cover a babysitter AND a night out is an impossible challenge at this time. I would LOVE to have a night out with my husband, where we can spend time alone and reconnecting.

    Hi,
    I would love to send the Bonefish card to my Mom. She is 80 years old and just spent nearly two weeks in the hospital for a heart condition. As I’m sure you know, the food in the hospital makes airline food seem gourmet. It would be so wonderful for my Mom to celebrate sleeping in her own bed again by having a delicious meal at Bonefish.     I am so impressed with your resilience with the no spending challenge, Amy! Good for you for sticking with it even when it gets tough.

    I would like to have this giftcard to use for Valentine’s Day because my husband and I are always committed to no-spending. In fact, using giftcards like these are usually the only way we get to splurge on special dinners or a night out. Like yourself, we are committed to getting out of debt and plan to be by the end of the year – so I can sympathize with you on the challenges it takes to pinch the pennies in order to fully commit to paying off all debt.

    I am excited to share our journey to becoming debt free with our son and hope that these lessons will instill in him the importance of money management and the fact that the biggest blessings our family have are not the ones that require any money at all, but the time we get to spend with each other which costs nothing at all.

    I/We would like to receive this bonefish gift card because the economy has really restrained our relationship more that just financially. We will begin Christian counseling on Feb 12th in hopes of getting things back on track with us. We really haven’t talked about V-Day until last nite. I wasn’t sure he wanted to celebrate but he does. He’s such agood man and hard worker and always provides as best he can so much so that physically he couldn’t take it any more. He had to take FMLA in Dec. and the Dr. has ordered him to find another job with less stress (but with this economy…no luck thus far) or the Dr. said he would have to be admitted into the hospital.

    I went on line last night after he and I spoke to find FREE V-Day events in Atlanta but there were few options for adults. Most cost $85 and up per person and that’s simply not in our budget. We are committed to one another and to God to make it through this rough time. I’ve been telling him a real meal would nice since I am all “roman noddled” out!     Hi im a single mom with two boys. I have been struggling for about 2 years now, ever since i had my second son. I have been out of work for 9 months now and in South Florida it is very very hard to find a job right now. I would love to go out to dinner with out the kids and enjoy a night out. I dont get out much since i am paying all the bills my self would love a little time alone and a meal that i dont have to cook

    This is my first time…so I’m not sure if this is where you want the comments. I kind of expected there to already be some comments. ??? I really need the Bonefish gift card because my husband is a firefighter, and it was important to us that I stay home with our 2 year old son. Public service does not lead in highest salaries so we are on a tight budget, and we would love some time together to eat out and enjoy each other’s company. When we do splurge and eat out it is not at expensive restaurants like Bonefish. It would be such a great Valentine’s Day treat to be able to tell my husband that he is my hero both for what he does, and for how hard he works so that I can stay home.

    My husband has been laid off since November and we have really cut back on our spending. As it was, we were only eating out on Sundays after church, but now we’ve cut that out, too. I make all our bread at home and we don’t purchase many extras at the store. It would be so nice to get to eat out for free just once.     i’m a new bride as of 1/27/2009… gained 1 husband, 3 more children (i have 3 daughters of my own), and a new budget. “don’t spend” that’s the budget. as we merge and jump on the DR (dave ramsey) train, we start the saving process.. someday we’ll have 4 weddings, six college funds and a retirement to fund! we’ve got to start somewhere… a date with my new groom will keep our fire alive as we navigate these new waters… thanks for all you do, Amy! We have been in a terrible situation this year (poor paying job, moved across country and rented a home that the landlords foreclosed, moved again and husband lost this job in July). His parents have supported us through it all. I know that they like Bonefish, as they’ve recommended it to us (we don’t have one here).     hmmm, why do i need this? i suppose it’s a common story nowadays….we live on paycheck to paycheck, and usually end up with four days of just about hanging on by threads! it would be great to go out and have a nice meal with my husband….maybe my mother in law will babysit???

    I would love to win this gift card and surprise my husband.

    See, my husband was diagnoised with prostate cancer. He went in for his yearly check-up and suddenly we were given this news. The doctor told us that my husband was young for having this type of cancer.

    Through alot of prayer, God blessed us. My husband’s prostate was taken out and the doctors informed us that the cancer was contained. No further treatment was needed. Those couple of weeks were really hard but we relied on our faith and received alot of prayers from family, friends and our church for which we are very thankful.

    I just found out I was laid off from my job on Monday because they had major budget cuts. Feb 13th will be my last day. This is mine and my fiance’s 1st valentines day (and our last before we are married). We met in April, got engaged in November, and will be married next September. It would be fantastic if we could still enjoy a romantic valentines day dinner with out worrying about dipping into our savings during this tough time.

    I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to win this gift card! I’ve never won anything yet by posting a comment on blogs, and I really need a night our with my hubby! I home school 8 – yes 8 – children from 11 to 2 years old! 5 are my own, and the 3 others belong to our friends whose mama died of breast cancer at age 36 2 years ago. We felt a burden to help, so we’ve taken in their kids for school ever since. Also, I have very bad neuroma’s (nerve pain) in both feet, and could use a night without dinner and clean up!     Bonefish is one of my favorite restaurants, but I’ve never had the opportunity to share the experience with my husband. I used to travel for business quite a bit and would frequently eat at the Bonefish in Tampa. Now a Bonefish has opened near our home in Cleveland, but being a mom, working only part time, and watching our spending have made it difficult to eat out anywhere. Thanks for offering this giveaway!     I would love to win the Bonefish Gift Card and take my husband out for a special treat, we have been married for 3 months, and haven’t gotten to have anytime alone (honeymoon either), because my daughter and 15 month old grandson moved in with us, shortly after our wedding day (she is going thru a messy divorce), so I am sure you can guess how much private time we never get.
