We also clear out all the closets, garage, etc. and ask friends for anything additional to donate. It is a small amount out of pocket, but it is amazing how much you can donate to those in need when you utilize sales, deals, coupons, and drugstore savings! <br /><br />It is our family's way of teaching our kids that giving back feels better than spending on ourselves or stockpiling!
