Thanks. I like the idea of the butter rice. I normally served soaked whole grain rice but it would be nice to jazz it up a bit and especially nice to have a stash in the freezer.

The recipes from America’s Test Kitchen cookbook sound great! What is the exact title of the book you use? I’d like to track it down. Thanks.

Amy, great menus. Is there anyway you can post the homemade enchilada sauce recipe? My family is crazy for enchiladas- we have them a couple times a week and the canned sauce is outrageously priced and I’d love a homemade recipe.

Shelia- The cookbook is America’s Test Kitchen Family Cookbook. I actually found it at the library and was sold immediately on it! It reviews cookware, ingredients, and they “test kitchen” all of the recipes to find the perfect recipe for everything. They had a show on PBS too. If you can get it from the library to peek through it, you will see how great it is! I asked for it for Christmas and my in-laws got it for me. I was over the moon! Such a great book!

Thanks for sharing your monthly menu again. I found much inspiration from your last one and am sure this one will too. Maybe you should make this a regular monthly feature?!

    Amy,

I am IMPRESSED you have all this planned out. I’ve been trying to do weekly ones, but always end up running to the store for a couple things I forgot. Drives me crazy! =)

Hey, when you have a minute (ha!), could you please send me that BD sign-up stuff? I hope to work on it later this week. Thanks, friend!
