I love the pumpkin article! Fall is also my favorite season because of pumpkins and the colors! I was just wondering if you know how big of a deal it is to wait until after October 30th to do the pumpkin puree? We were going to carve our pumpkins in the middle of October and I wondered if it would really matter if I make the puree then? Thank you for all of your hard work!

Heidi- Thanks so much! You could definitely try that, I think if you wait though, the pumpkin will be fresher for the puree. That was the recommendation for getting the best puree in the Tightwad Gazette (my frugal Bible) :)

Let me know how it turns out!
