In the last couple weeks, I've done both apple sauce and pear sauce in my crockpot- so easy! And tasty! I have piles of apples & pears left, so I expect to be making more!

The applesauce is cooking away today at home, I can’t wait to taste it! It already smelled wonderful by the time I left for work. I found it via a different website, but I checked and the recipe is the same.

I have the silhouettes bookmarked for Christmas presents, as well as Monica’s felted dryer balls and the signs she posted about today…

    Take care,
    Steph

I am trying the apple sauce tomorrow! I work at home so it should make the house smell yummy all day. Thanks for the link to our cupcake decorating post. We made some using different animal colors for a zoo themed birthday party and they were a huge hit.

You know…what I hate about your Notebook is I always find a BUNCH of new blogs to read!!! I’m have way to many as it is!!!! Seriously, great links.

And I have done the applesauce and apple butter in the crockpot. Works great. However you can make a really good applesauce just by coring apples and whiring in the blender with a little baking spice (like apple pie spice). It’s delicious and very good for you. I’ve done it with pears too.
