We are much the same. Many days, knowing I can curl up on the couch and enjoy my favorite show is what gets me through the day. You are good to no one if you are frugal and out of your mind!

Ha! Funny, we dropped cable TV and upped our Netflix not too long ago to save on monthly bills . And…I am missing the TV!! I don’t know if/when we are going to get it again, I’m still trying to make it work!

I view it this way, the cost of having satellite TV is nothing compared to the cost of the therapy and anti-psychotic meds it would take to keep me from going CRAZY without it. If having cable causes you to doubt your frugalness, just watch a couple of reality TV programs about spoiled rich heiresses and how they spend their money and free time. You’ll be feeling thrifty again in no time!
