Laura- This fence was actually purchased from Lowes. They had it outside with all of the flowers and it comes in separate pieces that you link together to make the fence. It was very inexpensive, but looked a lot better than the chicken wire I had up last year!!

I posted a pic at my place a few weeks ago of our cute little garden. This is our first year so we're not sure if we're doing it right, but I guess it takes patience! We do have one bean for now but that's about it!

Amy,

Your garden fence is so cute! The garden we planted in our old yard isn't doing so well this year, but we're still holding out hope for even a small harvest!

Tomatoes are coming along nicely! Our first one is just about ripe for picking and should be ready for a great summer salad in time for the weekend! We've been harvesting cucumbers for a while now, but still no squash.

Hi Amy,

Looks great! Silly question, but where did you get the cute white 'fence' for your garden?

We are moving this summer to a house with room for a garden and my kids cannot wait! (me either!)

Thanks for sharing!
Laura

I wish I could have my garden so close to the house. But my dog would trample/pee on it. Here are some pics:

http://creeksidesizeloves.blogspot.com/2008/06/how-does-your-garden-grow.html

Everyone thought I was crazy when I planted 31 tomato plants. With the tomato scare I have every tomato sold as it ripens on the vine chemical free. Some are as big a tennis balls-who would have thought. My husband came home with 2 bushels of corn fresh from the farm-now I have to figure out what to do with 200 cobs of corn.
Love your blog tracy-lynne223@yahoo.com

Monica- I think you guys started ours from seed and I feel like I took the easy route and just did the starter plants. I also relocated my spot so I think things are doing a little better than last year in the shady poor ground I had last time. I am still learning though. I planted way too early and I am surprised anything has lived :)
