Coincidentally he had a dentist appointment just a few days after that first tooth started wiggling around in it's socket. Our pediatric dentist said that kids typically start losing their baby teeth any time between 4 yo-7.5yo! That's a mighty big range! Mr. Big Pants actually just turned 5 in April so the loose tooth was a big ole shock to me.
