The scarf looks really nice. I”m glad you’re enjoying the knitting. I agree that it’s time to move on to something new and different. I went from scarves to kids sweaters and they’re fun to do and also fairly quick. Good luck!

I love using the drop stitch too. It’s so pretty. I agree with Jessie Leigh, time to move on. You don’t want to get stuck in the scarf rut!

Great ideas for the next projects! Those all sound like fun!

I am heading to my mother-in-law's tomorrow to get my first tutorial to learn how to make hats. If I can figure it out, I am going to attempt to help teach some gals in my mom's group so we could maybe do this as an outreach thing. So fun!!

Amy they are beautiful. Your ready to move on. Go get you some bamboo yarn and start making dish cloths, that will save you tons of money and make wonderful gifts to put in kitchen theme baskets and etc. Check lion brand yarn online you can get wonderful free patterns for knitting and crotching.

Just wanted to say I’ve been enjoying seeing your scarves. I learnt to knit just last year but I think you’ve already surpassed me. I’ve stuck to very simple scarves so far as I’m using watching TV at the same time. BUT you’ve inspired me to try something new.

You SHOULD be proud, Amy! Your scarves look beautiful! I think you might just be ready to move onto a different article of clothing now. When I “graduated” from scarves, I started making tiny little hats for the preemies at Riley Children’s Hospital. It was a great use for small quantities of yarn, they worked up quickly, and if they weren’t perfect? Well, the babies aren’t critical. : )
