Emily loved the swings best of all! She spent a good hour letting me push her in the swing. We all took turns giving her a good push- even Ethan!

Ethan prefers the slides!

Complete and utter joy.

Dontcha wish your mommy was hot like this? Crazy wild hair ensues after a day at the park and there were tears all the way home from Emily. I look like I am smiling, but I am gritting my teeth because she is doing the best to kick the back of the seat because she is mad that I made her leave the park. Ahhh! Motherhood!

We love our park too! The boys just had their first outing there a few weeks back.

The kiddos are so sweet! And yes they have a hot mommy!

I hate getting kicked in the back too!

    Blessings!!!!

OK I am not saying this will work every time….BUT….my daughter uses this technique with my grandchildren and it does work about 95 % of the time…..She starts with “In 15 minutes we are going to leave the park so if you want to slide, have another turn on the swing, go to the sandbox etc one last time now is the time to do that.” then at 10 minutes she says OK last time to (whatever)….at 5 Min….OK it is time to gather our things….tell our friends goodbye….then holding hands if necessary….or skipping….they sing a song as the head for the car…It seems to help if they have a warning that they are leaving….even if they can’t tell time…it’s not the “We are leaving in a few minutes”…they seemed to understand the concept…that time is winding down…and with consistancy….whining and crying doesn’t mean they can stay longer and at the same time they aren’t just “snatched” up with no warning and told OK we are leaving now!! God Bless, Pam, South Bend
