The first couple weeks were tough for me too because I bought stuff I wouldn't normally buy, but it was a learning process... I did manage to find some really good deals and it taught me how to be more aware of how I am shopping... I tried shopping with coupons and without my list at Target and boy did that teach me! I've been clipping coupons since January in hopes of becoming an avid coupon extraordinaire (or something like that)and saving my family tons. But what has happened is it's required a lot more work for me and most of the items are convenience items that I don't use and would end up spending our money on hence our grocery bills went up!<br />As of late, I've been perusing all the ads for meat sales and frozen veggie sales and pretty much make everything else. Although I feel like I've completely failed in my homemaking efforts recently, whereas it seems you are just having to focus more on the important things. Whenever we’re looking at ways to organize or save money, we have to ask ourselves, is this really worth it? Sometimes the answer is no!
