My grandfather (who has been like a father to me), and great-grandfather to my kids says that the great thing about being a "great" grandfather - now he gets to enjoy the kids and has two levels of parents to pass them off to when he wants a break! Gee, thanks Papa! I don't care, I'm just so happy he is part of their lives.

Funny Post! I related with it all the way through. Before church on Sunday, I was packing a little bag with things to keep my 2 year old occupied. I put startburst in it, but only picked out the yellow ones, so if she drooled while eating them it wouldn't show as much on her dress. I also was excited to get a good picture of the girls and I on Easter Sunday. I am always the one with the camera, so I have very few pictures with myself in them.

I laughed all the way through your post, because I identify with all of it! I have a precious few pictures of my 3 kids together, because I can never get them all to smile at the same time. I'm SOOOOO grateful for digital cameras and the freedom to snap 18 thousand pictures. :)

Emily's dress is beautiful!!

I thought of you this morning when I was at Aldi. The rising grocery prices make it depressing to shop at even the cheapest stores! I'm grateful that we've been training ourselves in frugality for 7 years, so we're prepared for the sliding economy. It makes me even more grateful for the tips I learn from bloggers like you!

I never have any decent pictures of me with the girls either! After church (Amelia fell asleep in Alan's lap for 45 minutes), we survived an hour plus lunch at O'Charley's and arrived at my mother's house, the girls were a mess and Amelia had marker (thankfully washable) on the front of her cute yellow and white gingham smocked dress. My mother wanted to take pictures and the girls looked pretty worn down and it was only 3 o'clock! ;)
