The host makes dinner and every one chips in with a side or a drink or something if needed. Some of us have kids and they all play together while we play. Game starts at 3, dinner is when we all get hungry and then we usually finish up around 8ish so the parents can get kids home to bed and everyone can get up for work on Monday. <br /><br />Game of choice at the moment? For good cheap fun, some friends and I "escape" every so often to the local Big Boy or Denny's for pie and chitchat until we feel sufficiently refreshed and ready to return home. There were 12 of us and we each paid $5/mo. We had Bunco, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, boobie, and travelling (travelling was whoever had the last bunco). We did many themes over the years (holidays,seasons, mexican fiesta, and a pajama party. Whoever hosted was responsible for buying the prizes with the $60 (we collected a month in advance) and serving snacks/drinks.
