I made these waffles this morning for my family and they were awesome. I made a few changes to stay within our diet, used wheat flour and splenda baking sugar and they turned out so good. I also used the recipe for the better than pam spray and the waffles came right off the waffle iron with no sticking. Thanks for these great recipes, I am going to add them to my permanent recipe file.

These sound great, Amy! Thanks for sharing. :)
I always add a handful (so scientific, I know ;) ) to my pancake recipe. It gives such nice texture and added nutritional bonus. Cornmeal in waffles is another neat trick, since it makes them so crunchy. Try it out sometime! :)

Nicole- These freeze great! I think the oatmeal makes them more sturdy than other waffles so they don't fall apart as easily. Just freeze them between small squares of wax paper. They were really yummy with that Honey Butter. Let me know what you think!!!

I saw the same show Pogren saw and she even made Quesadilla's on the waffle grill and hamburgers- she was showing what all you could make with a waffle iron. Gave me some ideas, was kind of like having a Panini machine!

That sounds delicious too, Pam! I would have never thought of doing that. I will see if I can find the recipe on her site.

Kara- Do you have any honey? I think that would work too. Or you can probably just add an extra 1/4 cup sugar and that will add the sweetness. Not as natural, but it will all be in your pantry :) Let me know how they turn out!
