Not budget-friendly temptations would be: Basically anything grabbed at the gas station on the way to the game! Store-bought hot and fried wings, store-bought subs, steak tips. We don't do alcohol, but I imagine that would hurt the budget in a big way.

Would love a great recipe for hot wings or oven-fried wings that actually taste good.

deb meyers

Great article on Frugal Hacks! How about some frugal menus for entertaining? I often pick a budget-friendly main course (chili, burgers, etc.) then jazz it up by offering some special sides that I make with ingredients bought on sale.
