I just got this last week and it looks like it will bring much order to our household. Now if only I could find a few hours to fill in all the blanks and transfer information from other places! I’ve found that adding a few more plastic sleeves has helped us, for things like stamps and envelopes, receipts, etc. I thought the healthcare log was a great idea, too, as you really do need to provide all that information when you see a new doctor or apply for life insurance.

If you want a free online alternative you could try Cozi which is a family organizer and scheduler. I'm sure it does not have all of the features that this family planner book has, but it has additional benefits and will send reminders via email and text message as well.
