It's a great example of spending less (if you're savvy about it) on something you would normally purchase. I've sooo many times wanted to start a new hobby, but by the time you put in the initial investment they become pretty pricy. I've found a good mix right now, cooking (for the family!), blogging, and sewing useful things like diapers or things I can sell (my daughter has plenty, lol) like dolls :) Great post. It has an initial investment, as you have to buy the GPS, but after that the only thing it costs is gas to get there. If you're lucky enough to have a bunch of caches in your area, though, it's a great hobby for families to do together, not to mention something cheap to do on vacation.<br /><br />Thanks for all the great info on having a hobby!
