On Christmas Eve, we bake a birthday cake for Jesus, which we eat on Christmas morning. It is a great way to keep the sentiment of the holiday (especially with small children), and it is fun to eat cake for breakfast!

On Christmas morning we eat a sweet bread with a nut hidden inside. Whoever gets the piece with the nut wins a small prize.

Oh, I'll be watching this thread! This will be my son's first Christmas and the first one my husband and I will spend at our own house! I'm looking forward to starting fun traditions with my own family.
