Now, Beth, if I told you all my secrets, I couldn’t get you to come back next Friday I am a lurker on a zillion boards and spend days compiling stuff. It is a lot of work, but I get nice things for myself too

Hey, Amy – I love this feature!! After a stressful week, it’s like treating myself to some little indulgences – for free! (I’m pretty lax about giving out my info. You can find just about anything on the Internet these days anyways. I would NEVER give my SSN, though). Thanks for this great feature – and how DO you find them all????? -beth

Yea, I have a spam account too, and one for blogging, and one for family, and one for church . . . and frankly, I never give out personal info. You should never give out your birthday anyway. Just give an approximate age and/or fake name. It won’t hurt their stats.

Oh, and I wanted to say thanks for some great samples, I’m always watching for your good stuff.

I love this Friday feature. I'm a regular.

I really hate giving my contact info out, too, especially email, because I know I'll be spammed. I opened a yahoo email account that I just use for filling out forms for stuff online. That way you can get the confirmations, but your primary address won't be inundated with the s-word.

I learned the hard way about some freebies being too good to be true. I came across one that promised a free $50 gift card for answering some questions. Instead of the card, I am the ongoing recipient of about 150 spam messages a day. Good thing I opened that extra email account! True freebies are gonna be small.
