I agree that the formula is outragous. The only thing that I thought was good about Amazon groceries is if you are looking for items that are hard to locate within your stores. Children who have allergies to certain things, a town who has little selection in organic, an obscure item that you miss....that kind of thing.

I compared coffee pods (this is one of my splurges) and they had comparable or lower prices on these than the grocery stores.

We don't have Peapod either, but I am an Aldi & Walmart shopper- so it wouldn't make any difference to me either way :)

In the waaaay pre-baby late 90s we had WebVan. I used it several times and was always very happy with the level of service and the quality of the produce and other groceries. It was probably 10 to 15% more expensive, but it was a fun luxury/convenience.

Today Atlanta doesn't have a grocery delivery service like PeaPod, but even if it did, I don't think my budget would allow me to use it.

I did check Amazon Grocery prices on formula the other day after I started seeing the ads. Ick.
