Hey! I'm visiting you from the stepbystep blog. I love your site!

Here's an idea for a good graduation gift: A wake-up kit (for those early crack o'dawn classes): Granola bars, a mini alarm clock (for those study/snooze library sessions), pop-tarts - quickie food that can be eaten on the run. Some breathmints, and visine to hide the fact that the person just rolled out of bed.

That is a wonderful graduation gift! I seem to remember my husband getting one of those too for his graduation, but had forgotten about that! Thanks for sharing your gift idea!

One of the gifts I got that I thought was original, thoughtful, and useful was a first aid kit.

It was just a tupperware container with band aids, tape, tweezers, sissors, H2O2, antibiotic ointment, asprin, rollaids, etc.

It was nothing excessive, but it handled 95% of the little cuts and bruises that me and my roomates got.

A super simple gift that i didn't even think to buy myself.

I still use the container as my first aid kit.
